A few days ago Jacob cut a new path from the tiny house down to the creek. It was already a deer path so we just widened it. It’s a nice spot where we are going to put a picnic table!

The spot we picked for the a-frame is magical! It’s close to the creek and you can hear the water bubbling over the rocks and there is a small swimming hole that the kids will love when the weather warms up!

Does anyone know what kind of trees those are in the picture? They are about 5 inches in diameter, maybe 10-15 feet tall and the trunks are twisted. I love them so I am curious to find out what they are.
